My pen and colour pencil drawing of a boat house at the shore of Windermere in the UK's Lake District national park. Not far from Ambleside, the building seemed to be abandoned, lying at the edge of a field belonging to and preserved by the National Trust.
The image is 10.5cm x 5.5cm, so roughly 4.25inch by 2.25inch.
It's mounted and in a white rebated frame that is 20.5cm by 15cm, ready to hang on a wall, or stand on its own on a shelf.
I used coloured watercolour pencils, blended for the background with the detail in black pen over the top. I included plenty of detail in this miniature landscape format. The boat house had real character, begging not to be ignored.
