My original drawing in pen and soft pastels of two pylons against a blue summer's sky. Everywhere you go, pylons are there, often overlooked, but they always help to define a landscape. Here are two that are near me, along the bank of the Tyne.
This is my drawing, mounted and framed, ready to hang. It is on A3 paper with a double mount - the top section in off white, with a smaller bright white mount underneath as a highlight. The frame is wood, painted to give a slightly distressed not-quite-black finish. Overall, with the frame included, the picture is 55cm wide x 42cm high (21.5 inch x 16.5 inch).
