A drawing of the disused lido at the end of Longsands beach, Tynemouth, Tyne & Wear. Built in 1925 and a popular destination for over 50 years, decay began to set in from the late 1970s onwards, as international holidays became more and more favoured and accessible. The concrete, rust, and silt that's left completely fascinates me; here it is, in pen and pastel to grace any art lover's wall.
From my original drawing, a high quality print on lovely matt finish 290gsm Hahnemühle bamboo fine art paper mounted on 2mm museum display card for extra stability.
The final print dimension are standard A3, 420mm wide x 297mm high, including a small plain white border.
My drawing has been carefully scanned and will be printed and mounted to backing card for you on demand, meaning 2 to 3 extra working days for delivery.
Your print will be hand numbered by me and this artwork is strictly limited to a run of 100.
